In our language, an amanet is something entrusted to you — a promise you carry and hand on. That is how we treat the food our grandparents cooked.
Food to pass down
We opened this market to pass our food down — the recipes, the tastes and the table our grandparents kept. And to put it in front of everyone here in Luxembourg, so people who never grew up with it can discover it for themselves.
Ask us anything and we will let you taste before you buy: a spoon of ajvar, a slice of burek, a glass of ayran. Come for what you know, leave with something new — that is the whole idea.
